Description
Lake Kitandara Bwindi Camp is located on the border of Bwindi National Park and is greatly suitable for Bwindi gorilla trekkers. The camp offers guests magnificent views of the areas surrounding the park.
The camp opened in 1994 and is the best Camp for Luxury or upper market visitors to Bwindi National Park. It has been modernised in an African style. It has unique tents which retain some original features but also have modern styles with over 20 lavishness tents with standard facilities.
The tents are named after the Ugandan bird species in the area and this is greatly liked by very tourists who visit the camp. These uniquely named tents have well furnished beds that give the best sound sleep once you are in the park. The facilities include bathrooms and toilets with warm and cold water for the visitors.
The camp has a Restaurant with both international and local cuisines, A well designed bar that gives a perfect view of the Forest, An amazing reception with a camera charging point.
There is also a veranda on which guests can sit and enjoy the distant view. The camp is powered by solar energy 24 hours.

Reaching Lake Kitandara Bwindi Camp
From Entebbe or Kampala it takes you like 9hours on the road through western Uganda
1 hour and 40 minute flight by light aircraft, followed by a journey of about 40 kilometres on road.
