The wildlife community is filled with excitement. The exciting news from the Bwindi Forest is a second birth in a space of two weeks within the Mubare Gorilla group. This is the oldest group in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and the mother has been identified as Karungi. She gave birth to a live baby gorillas.
The Gorilla Doctors have confirmed that both the mother & the baby are healthy.
The sex of Karungi’s baby is not yet established since its mother is still very strict. Visitors to this family will be delighted to see these baby gorillas and baby gorillas have big fans among the visitors.
This is the second baby born in Mubare Uganda’s oldest Gorilla group within a period of 3 weeks. Exciting, isn’t it?
