Additional birds in Bwindi include blue-headed sunbirds, short-tailed warblers, strange weaver birds, dusky crimson wings, red-fronted antpecker, montane oriole, lagden’s bush shrike, and more.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest also shelters a total of about 200 colorful butterfly species. These include 8 Albertine rift endemic species like the cream-banded swallowtail, the African giant swallowtail, and others. A total of 27 amphibian species, including 11 Albertine rift endemic species, call Bwindi home.
