What Should I Expect on a Gorilla Trek?
The day gorilla trek starts early. You will be assigned the gorilla family to visit in the morning and hikes can be categorised as Easy, Moderate and Hard. You will go a guided hike through Bwindi and upon meeting the mountain gorillas, you will be given up to one hour to watch them in wild (normal gorilla trek) or up to 4 hours for the gorilla habituation experience.
