Your guide will take you to the information center for briefing where you will meet with other trekkers before you start trekking at 8:00am.
After briefing, enter the mighty impenetrable forest as led by the park rangers, who will take you to where the Gorillas can be located at that time. The activity takes around 2 to 8 hours, this is because these gentle giants migrate and cannot be stationed in one place, they move basing on the availability of food and water. Also remember that no skill is needed to track gorillas though one needs to be fit enough at least.
There is nothing as astonishing and thrilling as watching the silverbacks guard their bases, watch the females feed young ones, play, and grumble at each other among other things, you will take enough photos. Return to the lodge after, in the evening if you still have time, you could also have a walk in the Batwa community and see how they live. After have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

In the morning on this day, you will have breakfast and thereafter you will drive eastwards to Lake Mburo National Park a home to large numbers of antelopes, and other animals like Buchells Zebras, hippos, warthogs, buffaloes, and birds, leaving the spectacular Kigezi highlands behind passing via Mbarara town which is home to the long-horned cattle.
You will have lunch enroute, later arrive at the park, check in at the lodge and have an evening game drive. Have dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Launch cruise on Lake Mburo and departure back to Kampala
Have breakfast, and set out on a boat safari where you will be able to see other smaller lakes like Lake Bwa and Lake Kazamu, also enjoy watching buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, near the shallow waters. There will be a chance to see the birds like the crested cranes, saddle bill stork, Abyssinian ground hornbills and others.
After, head back to the lodge, unwind, as you relax at the bar area or the swimming pool. Later have lunch and say bye to the park staff and the park itself as you travel back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the equator for photos; you could also buy some crafts at the nearby shops, reaching Kampala late evening.
