Ride 4 a Woman is a local community project that aims at supporting the girl child. Located in the Buhoma Sector in northern Bwindi, this community based initiative offers travelers the opportunity to experience the real Uganda.
It is aimed at the centre of Buhoma Town, just a short drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The project started with hiring 4 bikes to tourists who would like go cycling around Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
During your stay at the project you can engage in various activities including weaving, sewing and ironing.
You can also participate in cooking typical Ugandan local food.
In addition, over 60 women are employed by this project.
