Gorilla trekking. From Burunga Lodge, visitors can safely reach Nkuringo and Rushaga to engage in gorilla trekking. The lodge is conveniently located, offering visitors an easier connectivity option to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park or even Mgahinga National Park. Engaging in Bwindi gorilla treks from Burunga requires a valid permit and each is booked at USD 800 –this cost is valid up to the end of June. Gorilla trekking in Rushaga/Nkuringo involves physical participation, and the overall adventure can last for 2-6 hours. This includes one hour during which visitors can stay face-to-face with a group of mountain gorillas.

Gorilla habituation –Rushaga. The Rushaga mountain gorilla habituation experience takes you on a long day search for gorillas.
