The lodge overlooks the ancient Bwindi impenetrable Forest and is the finest luxury lodge in Bwindi. With these dramatic intense views of the forest canopy across a serene stream, it’s one of Africa’s unique properties. The mountain gorillas frequently come and relax in the verdant bush that is around the lodge. This lodge is perfectly located within the park.
In 2017, the lodge has been renovated and all the areas have fully been reopened in January 2018. This luxury lodge in Bwindi features a redesigned guest lounge as well as a dining area that offers you a feel of the forest into the stylish interiors. Its main living area has a central fire place that acts as a focal point for the guests to relax and discuss their gorilla tracking experience. There is the newly designed outdoor terrace that gives staged views of the impenetrable forest and is good place to see the monkeys and birds hidden in the foliage.

There are the 8 individual bandas and each having their own view of the forest, have been restyled with warm luxurious interiors and inviting for poster beds and locally inspired furniture. There is a spa Humula that is soon to be opened in April 2018.
There is a bar in the high street of the village just nearby that is stylish and colourful in the area. The guests enjoy the informal tapas style meals inspired by Ugandan dishes at the bar, in the local high street. This is a harry bar of Bwindi and the guests can even make their Rolex wrap.
The lodge has got 8 plaster and timber glass fronted guest bandas with thatched roofs
