Erebero Hills Lodge is built on the Northern sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Southwestern Uganda. Its strategic location makes it ideal for visitors with the desire to explore gorilla families in the Buhoma sector. It is also accessible from the Kihihi Airstrip after your 1-2 hour flight.

What to do

Gorilla Trekking

From the signature Erebero Lodge, guests can easily connect to Bwindi National Park offices to begin their treks with mountain gorillas. Over half of the world’s 1063 mountain gorillas left on earth reside in Bwindi National Park. Observing mountain gorillas in the wild is such a life-changing opportunity. A trek with mountain gorillas begins from the four regions, including Buhoma, Rushaga, Nkuringo, and Ruhija. A maximum of eight guests get to trek one habituated gorilla family, and on finding it, they enjoy a maximum of one hour with these large apes while taking pictures and observing how they behave.

Batwa Cultural Experience

Erebero Lodge is suitably set in the area where you can embark on community visits to interact with the Batwa pygmies.
