Aerolink is the most established domestic airline serving Bwindi. It operates scheduled daily flights to both Kisoro and Kihihi using single-engine aircraft configured for 11 passengers.
Flights depart from the Kajjansi airstrip, which is about 35 minutes from Entebbe International Airport. The company maintains the most consistent frequency on Bwindi routes, particularly during peak seasons.
If you’re planning a multi-park itinerary, Aerolink also connects to Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, and Semuliki.

Bar Aviation entered the scheduled flight segment in recent years but has quickly expanded its coverage.
Its aircraft are newer and offer slightly more seating comfort. The airline departs directly from Entebbe International Airport, eliminating the need for a road transfer to Kajjansi. This makes it a preferred option for tight connections.
The company also handles charter operations, allowing lodge-to-lodge direct flights if you’re combining Bwindi with distant parks or private groups.
