Scheduled Flights

Aerolink Uganda operates daily scheduled flights from Entebbe International Airport (EBB) to both Kihihi and Kisoro airstrips. Flights use single-engine turboprop aircraft certified for short field operations.

Departures from Entebbe are typically between 0700 and 0745 hours, depending on the destination. Return flights from Bwindi airstrips leave late morning or midday.

Check-in occurs at the Aerolink terminal in Entebbe, a separate facility near the main passenger terminal. Passengers are advised to check in at least 90 minutes before departure.

Flight time ranges between 1 hour 10 minutes and 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on weather and routing.

Most lodges organise pick-ups directly from the airstrips, though some remote lodges require an additional transfer leg.

Other operators, such as Fly Uganda or Bar Aviation, may offer chartered alternatives but do not publish daily scheduled services to both airstrips.

Scheduled Flight Times to Bwindi (Kihihi and Kisoro)

Flights to Bwindi depart from Entebbe International Airport and are managed by Aerolink Uganda, Bar Aviation, and a few private charters. Operators often adjust schedules based on passenger demand and seasonal factors. Morning slots are typically prioritised to avoid weather-related disruptions, especially on routes to Kisoro.
