High speed Internet has arrived in Bwindi (Buhoma). Services are provided by the CTPH Telecentre in Buhoma village, across the road from the Bwindi Community Health Centre.
A selection of Internet plans ranging from 30 minutes, 1 hour, weekly, and monthly unlimited Wi-Fi access within the facility are offered. Visitors with their own laptops with an 802.11b adapter may utilise their own machine or use one of the rental machines.
Online rates for ecotourists, government and enterprises subsidize the local community computer training and internet usage.
