The unprecedented fortunes continue to flow in Uganda’s vast tropical rain forest of Bwindi! A sixth baby gorilla has been born in just a space of 7 weeks!

The baby has been born in the Mucunguzi Gorilla Family from the Rushaga Sector in Southern Bwindi. The mother of the baby has been identified as Ndikahe, an adult female, aged 16 years.

Ndikahe joined the group from a wild family that roams the park.

The new born baby has increased the family size to 12 individuals and since the park has been reopened for tourism, the great apes are looking to your visit!
