The Hotel which derives its name from the former European settlers who used to ride their beautiful White Horses on Makanga Hill of Kabale Township; is the starting point to the Gorilla sanctuaries of Bwindi and Mgahinga.

The hotel offers stupendous view of the terraced hills of the area and it is clear, one may be lucky to view Mt. Muhavura an active volcanic mountain from one of the adjascent hills. Its forty single thatched rooms include either one or two bedrooms and one executive suite with Twin, Double or Triple beds. Baby cots are also available. Each of the forty bedrooms has its own private and modern bathroom facilities; all rooms fitted with colour TV and dailing telephones.

Two conference rooms situated in the main building can accomodate 100 and 30 participants respectively with adequate conference facilities.
